ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has said that relief to the people and economic development will be prioritized in the budget of the next financial year.
A meeting was held on the budget proposals regarding the industrial sector under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif, in which well-known industrialists and investors from every sector of the country participated through video link, while federal ministers Ishaq Dar, Syed Naveed Qamar, Ahsan Iqbal, Makhdoom Murtaza Mehmood, Engineer Khurram Dastgir Khan, Minister of State for Petroleum Dr. Mossadegh Malik, Advisor to Prime Minister Ahad Khan Cheema, Special Assistants Tariq Bajwa, Jahanzeb Khan, Member National Assembly Qaiser Sheikh, Governor State Bank, Chairman FBR, and Concerned senior officials were also present.
In the meeting, proposals were presented by the Ministry of Commerce and the Ministry of Industry and Production for various sectors, industrialists and investors also presented useful suggestions to increase domestic exports.
The Prime Minister directed the concerned authorities to work on these proposals in detail and submit them. Talking to the participants of the meeting, the Prime Minister said that maximum relief to the people and the development of the economy will be given priority in the budget of the next financial year.
He said that measures to increase the production and exports of the industrial sector will be a part of the budget, I will personally ensure that the proposals from the industrial sector are made a part of the budget.
The Prime Minister directed to remove all unnecessary obstacles between the growth of production of small and large and export industries. The previous government deliberately stopped investment and industrial development in the country. The contract was broken, which is affecting 22 crore people and industrialists.
The Prime Minister said that there are difficulties in the lives of nations, the Pakistani nation is a courageous nation, we are all gradually coming out of this economic problem, and the government, the entire nation, industrialists, and businessmen are working together for the better conditions of Pakistan.
Are doing Shahbaz Sharif said that in the last year, evil elements tried to harm the country sometimes by long and sometimes short marches and sit-ins. The events of May 9 not only spread evil in the country but also caused serious economic damage to Pakistan. The Prime Minister said that the government will further reduce the cost of production by providing cheap energy to industries, the government will also ensure that banks provide loans to small industries on easy terms.
The Prime Minister also directed his adviser Ahad Cheema to finalize the proposals given by the industrialists in the meeting and prepare them for inclusion in the budget.
بجٹ میں عوام کو زیادہ سے زیادہ ریلیف اور معاشی ترقی کو ترجیح دی جائے گی، وزیراعظم
اسلام آباد: وزیراعظم شہباز شریف نے کہا ہے کہ آئندہ مالی سال کے بجٹ میں عوام کو ریلیف اور معاشی ترقی کو ترجیح دی جائے گی۔
وزیرِ اعظم محمد شہباز شریف کی زیرِ صدارت صنعتی شعبے کے حوالے سے بجٹ تجاویز پر اجلاس ہوا، جس میں ملک کے ہر شعبے سے تعلق رکھنے والے معروف صنعت و سرمایہ کار بذریعہ ویڈیو لنک شریک تھے جبکہ وفاقی وزرا اسحاق ڈار، سید نوید قمر، احسن اقبال، مخدوم مرتضی محمود، انجینئیر خرم دستگیر خان، وزیرِ مملکت برائے پیٹرولیم ڈاکٹر مصدق ملک، مشیرِ وزیرِ اعظم احد خان چیمہ، معاونین خصوصی طارق باجوہ، جہانزیب خان، رکن قومی اسمبلی قیصر شیخ، گورنر اسٹیٹ بینک، چیئر مین ایف بی آر اور متعلقہ اعلی حکام بھی شریک تھے۔
اجلاس میں وزارتِ تجارت اور وزارتِ صنعت و پیداوار کی طرف سے مختلف شعبوں کیلیے تجاویز پیش کی گئیں، اسکے علاوہ صنعتکاروں اور سرمایہ کاروں نے بھی ملکی برآمدات بڑھانے کیلئے مفید تجاویز پیش کیں۔
وزیرِ اعظم نے متعلقہ حکام کو ان تجاویز پر تفصیلی ورکنگ کرکے پیش کرنے کی ہدایت کی۔
اجلاس کے شرکا سے گفتگو کرتے ہوئے وزیر اعظم نے کہا کہ آئندہ مالی سال کے بجٹ میں عوام کو زیادہ سے زیادہ ریلیف اور معیشت کی ترقی کو ترجیح دی جائے گی۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ صنعتی شعبے کی پیداوار اور برآمدات بڑھانے کیلئے اقدامات بجٹ کا حصہ ہوں گے، میں بذاتِ خود یقینی بناؤں گا کہ صنعتی شعبے سے تجاویز بجٹ کا حصہ بنائی جائیں۔
وزیراعظم نے ہدایت کی کہ چھوٹی بڑی اور برآمدی صنعتوں کی پیداوار میں اضافے کے درمیان حائل تمام غیر ضروری رکاوٹوں کو دور کیا جائے، گزشتہ حکومت نے دانستہ طور پر ملک میں سرمایہ کاری اور صنعتی ترقی کو روکا، اپنے اقتدار کی خاطر آئی ایم ایف کا معاہدہ توڑا جس کا خمیازہ بائیس کروڑ عوام اور صنعت کار بھگت رہے ہیں۔
وزیراعظم نے کہا کہ ’قوموں کی زندگی میں مشکلات آتی ہیں، پاکستانی قوم با ہمت قوم ہے، ہم سب مل کر اس معاشی مشکل سے بتدریج نکل رہے ہیں، حکومت، پوری قوم، صنعتکار اور کاروباری حضرات مل کر پاکستان کے بہتر حالات کیلئے محنت کر رہے ہیں۔
شہباز شریف نے کہا کہ گزشتہ ایک برس شرپسند عناصر نے کبھی لانگ تو کبھی شارٹ مارچ اور دھرنوں سے ملک کو نقصان پہنچانے کی کوشش کی، 9 مئی کے واقعات نے نہ صرف ملک میں شر پھیلایا بلکہ پاکستان کو شدید معاشی نقصان بھی پہنچایا۔
وزیراعظم نے کہا کہ حکومت صنعتوں کو سستی توانائی فراہم کرکے انکی پیداواری لاگت مزید کم کرے گی، حکومت یہ بھی یقینی بنائے گی کہ بینک چھوٹی صنعتوں کو آسان شرائط پر قرض فراہم کریں۔
وزیرِ اعظم نے اپنے مشیر احد چیمہ کو اجلاس میں صنعتکاروں کی طرف سے دی گئی تجاویز کو حتمی شکل دے کر بجٹ میں شمولیت کیلئے تیار کرنے کی ہدایت بھی کی۔
